Former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad today to receive Global Peace Award from the Ramadhan Foundation a non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from the United Kingdom.
Presented the award to recognize his contribution to the Muslim community in addition to champion peace initiatives at the global level.
It was presented by Chairman of the Ramadhan Foundation, Muhammad Umar, the Gala Awards Dinner International Convention Uniti Muslims in Putra World Trade Center (PWTC) here this evening.
Besides Dr. Mahathir, the foundation also gives awards to the Foundation for Al-Bukhary and ambulance service to the ummah Ubaidulla Kadir Basha for his service and achievements in the field of human life.
In his speech, Dr.. Mahathir urged all Muslims to set aside differences and united by universal peace.
