Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said the state government would not get involved with the Himpun rally scheduled for this Saturday afternoon but would not prohibit its staff from participating in it.

What people says about this:

tpn -Khalid, what are you up to. The state government should follow PAS and PKR’s stand not to support the gathering. State leaders who turn up for the gathering should be sacked

Keturunan -Malaysia Yes Onyourtoes, don’t tell us our MB Khalid has suddenly gone cuckoo! When the devils extend an invitation and/or preach religion, it is wise to stay away. Nothing good can ever come out of it. It is never meant for their followers, it was only meant to entice and trap the good and the clean.

Samuel Ng -A bolt of lightning from heaven would get everyone’s attention not to use God’s name in vain for their political mileage. Corrupt men trying hard to look holy is most disgusting.

Onyourtoes -MB Khalid, please get real here. Who told you this rally is apolitical organised by NGOs? If so, why UMNO’s ministers are opening begging PAS and others to attend? Are you saying these NGOs have engaged UMNO ministers as their marketing and public relation executives. You should actually ban Selangor state civil servants from attending. It is a political event and civil servants should stay away from it.

Anonymous_3f1f All of a sudden there were so many so called Malay NGOs surfaced…if I am not wrong there was one that called themselves as “Anti-Pakatan Rakyat”..What kind of -NGO is this? Will they contribute anything to the society for being Anti-Pakatan. Strange and stupid.

Caleb Choo a.k.a. -KitaAkanSiasat This will be the most embarrasing rally I’ve ever heard. It’s already embarrasing my good Muslim friends because they do not believe that a rally can save nor strenghthen their faith. It can be only done by themselves!

A British lawyer representing the outlawed Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) who was barred from entering Malaysia to see his clients has lambasted the Malaysian government in a critical commentary on influential British daily The Guardian.

What people says about this?

Dr.Irwan Hj Jusoh I think as Malaysians we should question the real motive of the immigration to have deported a human rights lawyer. Waytha Moorthy , you Sir, have shone the ugly spotlight on Malaysia. Congratulation

Dr Suresh Kumar This story has been hogging the limelight for more than a week, even appearing in international media, yet the Malaysian Bar Council and Ambiga, who are usually very vocal are in a deafening silent mode. Even though Imran is a British citizen, but he came all the way to represent his Malaysian clients. The bar council as a responsible professional body should therefore speak up against such, humiliating and deplorable behaviour of the authority against a human rights lawyer, regardless of his nationality. Ambiga herself has gone through such a humiliation, and knows first-hand how it feels like to be denied entry, what more for a person who flew from thousands of kilometres away and to be treated in that manner with blatant disregard for his rights. And to further humiliate him. He was classified as a ‘prohibited immigrant’. This is totally unacceptable by any standard. I wonder why the Bar council, Ambiga, the human rights NGOs, etc are awfully in total silence?

JusticeKini Tourism Malaysia will be changing its slogan soon from “Malaysia Truly Asia” to “Malaysia – Truly Racist”. As long as UMNO practises a policy that promotes the supremacy of a race over others, there will be no future for the next generation. My children are 4th generation Malaysians have less rights than a 1st generation Malaysian-born Indonesian Muslim who became the Selangor Menteri Besar and 1st generation Malaysian-born Indian Muslim became the Prime Minister of Malaysia. That’s why there is now 1 million skilled Malaysians working overseas and 3 million low-skilled migrant labour working in Malaysia. Now even the illegal ones out-numbered the legal migrant labour and they can get blue ICs and vote. Very soon Malaysia will be part of Indonesia (which became a republic). We will be sowing the seeds and I assure u reaping the harvest will be a nightmare. BECAREFUL UMNO- Indonesians have great experience in throwing out their Presidents. haha! The one who laughs last laughs best
