ANONIMOUS Z It is only logical for a component party of a coalition to surrender its previously allotted seats, which were lost or won but the candidates defected later, to its ally. This will ensure the respective component parties to treasure and to double ensure to fill in the best candidates that can win. There is no point of filling lousy candidates that cannot be acceptable by the voters. Remember, Anwar Ibrahim used to plea with the voters that, BN is filthy rich; they can afford to fool the people by throwing in a lot of money to support very lousy and sub-standard candidates. But PKR is a very poor party depending on voluntary contribution and donation from the people for survival. As such, PKR promises to give to the people, the best and highest qualified candidates. These lost seats in Penang showed that PKR did not fill in the best as promised, as such, it is very logical for PKR to surrender them to its ally in coming GE13.
AnakMalaysia It sounds quite logical, but should also be reciprocated. Seat allocation is always the problem for both groups, BN and PR. It is wise to settle it amicably, with lots of compromise, sensible choice of winnable, likeable candidates and fair to both the party, the group and the rakyat. There is no right or wrong here, its the wisdom and the cohesiveness among the component parties that count. Let it be a winning and winnable allocations, as the winner must be both the PR and the rakyat.
NX No matter how much malaysians crow about being malaysian, race does matter for now. DAP should reinvent itself from the current perceived cinaman party to a true multiracial party that is seen and felt and not just spoken of. However, i opined that there are much better ways to address all this issue.
